Welcome to my life...

So, i've decided to start a blog b/c well all my siblings have one... and i don't wanna be left out! LOL! But seriously, i figured it'd be nice to have, give me something to do, and keep all my family and friends that i dont get to see too often, updated on what i'm up to. Because if you know me, you know i change my mind all the time and can never decide on anything. It should be interesting.

Well, on that note... I've been going through a "young-life crisis" lately lol in that i really didn't know what i wanted to do with my life, or if i should move to California like i've always wanted to, etc. Turns out, i decided to postpone my move to Cali for awhile. I figure i should be a lot more financially stable when i move out there or else i'll probably just be super stressed all the time. And i mean, i have a good thing going here in Texas so i'm okay with staying.

Most of you know that i got a job working @ Privileged Pets a few days after graduating high school. And that i continued to work there on school breaks & holidays, and every time i moved back to Katy i went back to working there. It's been so awesome having a job like that to fall back on when other plans just didn't go my way. I can't tell you how blessed i am to have bosses like Fiona & Jack! I started at $5.15/hr (craziness right?), but am now making $10/hr working in the kennel and occasionally doing some office stuff. On top of that, Fiona just offered me a full-time pet sitting job, so of course i took it!! You can really make a good living off pet sitting, and it's something i really enjoy too. It's absolutely perfect for someone like me. So now, the next step is to move out of my parents' house and get my own place in Katy!

I try not to see college as a waste of time (maybe a waste of money lol), because i learned so many valuable life lessons over these last 4 years, it's made me who i am today and i'm smarter and stronger because of it. Life is finally starting to make sense to me and i'm looking forward to seeing what the future has in store.
